Get to know me:

Hello! Angela here! I am a graphic designer who focuses on branding, packaging and digital design. As an American-born Chinese, I have interest in the Asian American experience and culture that is often neglected. With my second degree in International Relations, I incorporate cultural understanding and history into my designs to include influence from various cultures and backgrounds. I'm always a team player and love to work with other. During my time working for the Design Department, by working together as a group we were able to increase efficiency when mixing dyes for the screen printing class by creating a conveyer belt process of mixing the chemical water and then adding the dye after in a blender.

Outside of design, I enjoy collecting stationery and playing Pokemon Go while out with friends. In my free time, I love researching and creating graphics with Asian influences, such as language characters, festivals, traditions and folk tales. Occasionally I like to dress up and have spontaneous photoshoots with my friends. I love to explore the city of San Francisco to try out all the latest boba shops and drinking coffee and tea at local cafes. My go-to drinks are Oolong Milk Tea and Peach Green Tea for fruit teas at 50% sweet and no ice! (more room for MT!)
